Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Good morning, Deann here with a winter wonderland wall hanging that I created.

At the top I used Walking in a Winter Wonderland title from Gina's store.

I painted the phrase with white gesso . When dry I rubbed blue Distress Ink onto it. I layered lots of snowflakes that I painted blue and white and then painted the stars silver.

Next, I decorated two Snowflake Cutout Tags. I painted them in a pretty blue color and dry brushed on some white. I layered on some more chipboard snowflakes and stars and a sticker and flowers from my stash.

And finished it off with a pair of mittens from the Winter Shape Set and hung them from bakers twine.

I had so much fun combining all of the awesome chipboard!

Hot Cocoa!

Good morning, Deann here with a cute Christmas ornament for the holidays!

I used the Cocoa Mug Micro Mini Album.  I painted (well my Mum painted) them, then I embossed with a snowflake embossing folder in my Cuttlebug. Its so great that you can emboss the blank chipboard in any of the Cuttlebug or Big Shot machines!  I then inked the edges with Distress ink and some of the snowflakes with the same ink. I added snowflakes to the mugs from the Snowflake Shape Set.

 I used a rubber stamp to make the center piece, colored it with markers and then punched it out with a scallop circle punch.

 I popped up the snowman and a snowflake for dimension using pop dots.

To finish it off, I added glitter and some seam binding and bakers twine.  I am happy with the results and they are now ready to use on my tree!

Teacher gifts and Tutorial

Good morning, Deann here, today I would like to share some teacher gifts I created for Christmas gifts using coffee sleeves.

I used the Gingerbread Family Shape Set and the Winter Shape Set on my project then I added a coco pouch, candy cane, paper straw and will add a gift card to it later.

 This is what they look like all packaged up!

Coffee Sleeve Tutorial

Step 1- Get a coffee sleeve from your favorite Coffee Shop!

 Step 2- Open sleeve up, paint or stain the edges and where the folds are.

Step 3A- I cut a second sleeve apart to make a template,
3B- Cut a small amount off of the pieces on all sides, this will give an bordered edge on your sleeve.

Step4- Glue the paper to the sleeve and seal closed. All done!
Time for the decorating.

I used one of the Gingerbread men and inked it up and then edged it with gesso to look like frosting.

I added some buttons to the finished product, and volia!

Christmas Trees!

Good morning, I have a few trees to share with yall :) 

 First up- A flower Tree that I made for Craftsupplies1. 

 Cut the wire on the flowers to about 1 1/2 inches long, this is what i used to adhere the flowers to the cone with. I did add a little glue to the wires. 

 I added some of Gina's chipboard snowflakes.

Love the mask and butterfly for the topper!

Up next, My Mum made a few Ribbon Trees!

She found the idea on Pinterest, Lots of tutorials!

Mitten Banner

Good morning, Deann here with a dual project with Kimmy!

We both made the Mitten Micro Mini Album. We decided to turn the mini into banners.

I used the My Minds Eye Holly Jolly 6x6 paper pad to cover the mittens.

 I used Heidi's Stars Shape Set on some of the cuffs.

 I also used the Snowflakes Shape Set.

I found really cute jingle bells at the Dollar Tree, they look so cute!

Gifts for Thanksgiving

Good morning, Deann here with a Thanksgiving set to share with you all.

 I made a wall hanging using the Doily Box Fall, Pumpkins and the Fall banner from Fall Shape Set

. 

 I made a Wine bottle tag using one of the pumpkins from the Doily Box Fall.

Next up is a Hot chocolate gift pouch. I used the scare crow and one of the doilies from the box. 

Last up is a card

Good morning, Deann here with a Fall yard seen,

I used the Standing Dome as the base for my Project. I used a paper that has Sunflowers for the Dome. The paper was the starting point for my project.

 I used a lot of dried corn husk to fill all of the open spaces.

Next I added pieces from the Fall Shape Set. 

I used a tree from the Winter Shape Set, I cut the bottom half or the tree off and glued it behind the fence. It looks a bush now.

I really like how the rake and tub look behind the fence.
