Blog Hop with Gina's Designs !!!

Welcome to Gina's Designs Blog Hop!

Since April 15 – 21 is World Creativity & Innovation Week, Gina's Designs decided to hold a blog hop in celebration of Creativity! We challenge everyone to try something new and craft outside their comfort zone. In keeping with this theme, each of our Design Team members will be unveiling a project that includes a technique that is new to them. So hop over to each blog, check out the fun new techniques, and enter to win the prizes .  I will be giving away a $10.00 Gift Certificate for Gina's Designs. For my new technique I worked with Essential Gelatos by Faber-Castell . I loved working with them and want all of the colors now ! LOL!  They are very creamy and blend so well . I was able to layer colors on multiple surfaces .

I used the Steampunk Shape Set from Gina's Designs.
The Gelatos  cover the raw chip board  so well . I base colored all the pcs. with black
and then added the silver or gold. Then to finish it off I watered down the white and let
it drip down the pcs.

I recycled a ribbon spool for the base .
I colored it with the Black and highlighted with the silver. 

The flowers are from Paper Mart. They started out white,
I colored them with a Teal Copic marker. Then I started layering the
Gilatoes on with a paint brush and water.

I added a little bit of black tulle  and I did a few flowers with the  black, white and silver.

I layered the wings to the dress form.

May Arts Ribbon Spring Craft Challenge

Hi all,

I was one of the lucky 20 that got to participate in the Spring Challenge !

I had so much fun creating with the awesome ribbons I received .

May Arts was very generous with all they sent to me ,I still have ribbon left :)

My project was 2 altered spools here a few photos-

I made the nest  by taking apart a strip of the Burlap ribbon
and then shaped it into the nest
I used chip board Butterflies from
Gina'sDesigns.net

The other ribbons that I received were
Green Leaves
White eyelet
Teal string
and the Natural Burlap

I also used my favorite Dollies from Gina's Designs
Pettaloo Flowers  were used in the nests.

On the smaller spool I added a long strip of paper to add photos to
used a velcro dot to keep the paper rolled up.

and Bona has a spool with beautiful ribbons in place of the paper.

I made this wall hanging for my Niece 's room
She did her room in Blue and Brown

I love using the Card stock Dollies !
Now  Gina makes them in black and cream 

I also used the Butterflies
